Delete Your Account & Data

This page explains how to request deletion of your Coolvolt Solutions account and the data associated with it. It applies to both of our mobile applications: the customer app CoolVolt and the partner app CoolVolt Partner, both published by the developer Coolvolt Solutions.

You can request account and data deletion at any time by following the steps below. We honour these requests in accordance with applicable law.

To request deletion of your account and associated data, please follow these steps:

1. Send an email to cvsgrievanceofficer@gmail.com from the email address (or referencing the phone number) registered on your account.
2. Use the subject line “Delete my account”.
3. Include your full name and the registered email address and/or phone number so that we can verify your identity before processing the request.

Where available, customers and partners can also start a deletion request directly from within the app, on the Privacy or Settings screen.

After we receive your request, we verify your identity and then process the deletion. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days. If we need additional information to confirm your identity, we will contact you at your registered email or phone number.

Once your request is verified and processed, we delete the following data:

• Profile information (name, email address, phone number)
• Saved addresses
• Location data
• Uploaded verification documents and photos
• Bank and payout details
• Account credentials

Certain records are retained even after your account is deleted, where we are required or permitted to keep them. Transaction, booking, invoice, and payout records are retained where necessary to meet legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution obligations.

These records are kept only for the period required by applicable law — up to 7 years for financial records in India — after which they are deleted or anonymised so they can no longer be linked back to you.
